July ruled by 7

We are in the seventh month of the year! According to Santos Bonacci (Mr. Astrotheology), 7 is one of the most sacred numbers that exists...

There are:
~Seven Liberal Arts

~Seven Chakras

~Seven Pillars of Wisdom

~In Hindu/Greek myth there are 7 Sages

~According to the Aborigines there are 7 sisters of wandering Dreamtime
~In early Astronomy/Astrology there were seven wandering stars- the celestial body

~Seven Wonders of the World

~The Seven Sisters- The Pleiades

In Jewish tradition, seven is a most sacred number

The Egyptians referred to the seven veils of Isis: beneath these veils lie the mysteries and ageless wisdom of the past

There are seven stages in alchemy

The Bible is full of Sevens:
~Seven days of creation
~Seven seals in the Book of Revelations
~The number 7 is mentioned 77 times in the old testament
~There are seven virtues

Seven is a spiritual number, with a strong connection to our bodies (the chakras) and spirit.  Fairy tales, myth, and folklore are full of sevens. What other seven can you come up with?  Feel free to post any additional seven in the comments :)
